Systems Administrator - Windows (Senior)

What you will do

• Lead the design, administration, and modernization of enterprise Windows infrastructure.
• Architect and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity services.
• Design, implement, and support Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Lead VMware, virtual desktop, endpoint, and Windows Server infrastructure operations.
• Drive security hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and privileged access practices.
• Develop PowerShell automation for large-scale administration, compliance, and reporting.
• Own Windows Server STIG compliance and support NIST 800-53 audit and assessment activities.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex infrastructure and security incidents.
• Provide technical direction, documentation, and mentorship to junior and mid-level administrators.
• Support architecture decisions, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Participate in and provide escalation support for the on-call rotation.

What we are looking for

• 7 to 10+ years of Windows infrastructure and systems administration experience.
• Advanced expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server.
• Strong PowerShell automation and scripting experience.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise Microsoft and VMware environments.
• Strong knowledge of STIGs, vulnerability remediation, patching, and security controls.
• Experience leading infrastructure projects and mentoring technical staff.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and specialized training.
• For cleared roles, active Secret clearance and applicable citizenship requirements.

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
• Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert.
• Advanced MECM/SCCM, WSUS, Certificate Services, PKI, and imaging experience.
• CompTIA Security+ CE.
