Senior Network Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared)

Bluu Kazi is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead complex network engineering, optimization, and security initiatives supporting mission-critical federal and defense infrastructure.This position requires advanced technical expertise in enterprise networking, secure communications, network architecture, and DoD cybersecurity compliance. The ideal candidate can independently manage sophisticated network environments, resolve high-priority infrastructure issues, and provide technical leadership across networking and security operations.

• Network operations: configure, install, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade).
• Monitoring and troubleshooting: monitor network performance using enterprise management tools such as SolarWinds and provide Tier II/III troubleshooting support.
• Security compliance: implement and maintain network security protocols, ensuring compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides.
• COMSEC management: assist with the handling, configuration, and maintenance of cryptographic devices including KG-series equipment.
• Documentation: create and update detailed network topology diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.
• System integration: collaborate with systems administrators to ensure seamless integration across Windows, Linux, and VMware vSphere environments.

• Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance. Polygraph is highly desired.
• BS in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of practical experience in network administration or engineering, preferably within a DoD or highly regulated environment.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliance — for example CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, the OSI model, routing protocols, and switching technologies.

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA).
• Prior COMSEC custodian or alternate-custodian experience.
• SIPRNet and JWICS operational experience.
